For Families
Built around your child.
Not around a building.
Every learner unfolds differently. We help families design a personalized, Pathway Fold — keeping community, expanding mentorship, and adapting as your child grows, without sacrificing academic rigor or future-readiness.
If this sounds familiar
You're not the only family asking, "isn't there something better?"
Traditional school isn't matching how your child actually learns.
Full homeschool feels isolating, or like too much to carry alone.
Your child is a competitive athlete, artist, or creator — and needs flexibility.
You've outgrown one-size pathways and want something built around the child.
The Pathway Fold
How a Pathway Fold takes shape.
Four steps. Real humans. A Pathway Fold designed around your child — not slotted into a template.
01
Tell us about your learner
A short intake — strengths, interests, learning style, schedule realities, family goals. No call required. We're matching, not selling.
02
Pathway Fold Design
We co-design your child's Pathway Fold: academic core, mentorship, creative work, real-world experiences, and the support cadence that fits.
03
Onboarding & Enrollment
Enrollment in our Cognia Accreditation member school, your family portal (The Fold) set up, guide pairing, and a clear week-one rhythm so you're never wondering what's next.
04
Ongoing Support
Weekly check-ins, guide office hours, academic accountability, and pathway evolution as your child grows.
Support Structure
You are never doing this alone.
A real guide. An academic core. A live ecosystem of mentors, makers, and partners. A community of peers and families.
Academic core

A real human who knows your child — weekly touchpoints and family communication.
Pathway partners
Access to mentors, makers, coaches, studios, microschools, and field experiences across the network.
Peer community
National student community, local cohorts, shared projects, and in-person meetups.
Family resources
Onboarding kits, monthly family calls, parent learning groups, and a real human to call.
Portfolio & future-readiness
Living portfolio, transcript, and graduation pathway aligned to college, trade, or entrepreneurship.

Questions Families Ask
Real answers, not brochure language.
- We're a privately school — and more. The heart of what we do is a proprietary method for building individualized pathways for each learner, which loops in academics, mentorship, and extracurriculars. We use it with our own students, and we share it with every partner school in the network. The bigger goal: a national network of great schools whose kids actually know each other — connecting locally with their home campus, regionally through network meet-ups and field trips, and nationally through annual retreats and shared remote coursework.
- Yes. Flexible scheduling is built in. Many of our families have schedules traditional schools can't accommodate.
- Absolutely. Talent School runs in-person community at our North Carolina campus, and we partner with schools across the country — small microschools, Montessoris, creative charters, and even some public schools. Families plug into whichever local community fits their child. If the school you're hoping for isn't in the network yet, suggest it here and we'll reach out.
- K–12. Pathway design adjusts by stage — early literacy, middle exploration, and high-school portfolio + graduation pathway.
- Yes — we're a Cognia Accreditation member school (currently in Cognia's two-year preliminary accreditation period). Transcripts are recognized for college admissions across the U.S.
- Yes — TSN accepts ESA funds in multiple states. Eligibility and what the funds can cover vary by program, so reach out and we'll walk you through what applies to your family.
- Yes. Students enrolling at our North Carolina campus (in-person or remote-NC) can apply NC Opportunity Scholarship funds toward eligible pathways. Talent Partner Experiences are privately funded and not eligible. Reach out and we'll walk you through it.
- We have partner schools in Texas that accept the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA). Families use TEFA at the partner school for the academic core; pathway pieces are layered on from there.
- Yes — TSN is a proud approved provider with the Utah Fits All Scholarship. Click here for more information on how to use it.
